The hotel staff treated us like family! I remember one evening, the kind bar staff prepared a special drink for my son—it was a little touch but meant a lot to us.

aktinia is a fantastic place for a relaxing holiday, just a short walk from the sea. our deluxe double room was spacious for our family of four, and the outdoor swimming pool was great, especially the safe area for kids. the staff were very nice and helpful throughout our stay.

The hotel is conveniently located close to Cacao Beach, making it easy to enjoy the sun. The food served is delicious, and the staff is genuinely friendly and always ready to help. Our studio room was pleasantly roomy, which was ideal for our family with a little girl. we greatly appreciated having that extra space. The view from the pool was captivating, enhancing our overall experience.

The only downside was that the amenities could use some updates. the common areas felt a bit dated.

Upon arrival, I was shocked to find no mosquito nets on the balcony, which led to a horrible mosquito situation. The pool was always full, making it impossible to relax and enjoy my time. To add to the frustration, the hair dryer was missing in the room, leaving us with no choice but to borrow one from reception during our stay.

The balconies had no mosquito nets, a concern given the local mosquito population, and the noise from the street could be bothersome during the night. Parking was a hassle. you had to pay daily and often struggled to find a spot available. Food temperature was inconsistent, and drinks at the bar were served in wet glasses due to a shortage of proper ones. Lastly, the evening entertainment options left much to be desired. they could really step things up for a more lively experience.

We had a fab time! The kids loved the pool area, and the poolside snack bar was a lifesaver—hot dogs and ice cream on demand! Rooms were decent, but it could get noisy at night. Staff was friendly, though a few seemed off. Overall good vibes!
